I had the chance recently to tour a nice holiday-related farm in Atwater. It's called Dittmer's Tree Depot and is owned by Mike, Jann and Jamie Dittmer. They have a choose-and-cut tree farm. They provide wagon rides to and from the field, refreshments, pop corn, coffee, hot chocolate and free shaking/wrapping of all trees. This year, they have added a gift shop section inside their beautifully decorated tree depot. The gift shop items include ornaments, nutcrackers, wreaths, musical items and much more.

They are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Thanksgiving to Christmas and are located at 277 State Route 183 in Atwater.
